We are seeking a transformational leader, with a relentless focus on execution, to serve as the Head of Client Platform & Digital Wealth Experience, overseeing the end-to-end client engagement platform and wealth experience ecosystem for our global wealth business. This leader will be responsible for reimagining and delivering a world-class, mobile-first wealth management experience for clients - one that seamlessly connects advisor insights, firm recommendations, and advice to actionable client engagement opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of wealth management, digital engagement, and end-to-end experience transformation. They will lead the evolution of our client-facing digital platform beyond a traditional transactional interface, ensuring that our digital wealth experience is centered around personalized advice, insights, and long-term goals, enhancing traditional product sales or account servicing.

This leader will drive advisor and operational efficiency, reduce legacy costs, deliver the firm to clients in an advice driven way, and particularly enhance net new investment asset growth across all client segments. They will work across business lines, leading an agile development team to modernize the client platform and leapfrog competitors by delivering the next generation of best-in-class wealth engagement and advice experiences.

This role requires a relentless client focus, and passion to work with various business and product leads to partner on building a unified client platform that can be multi-channel and flexible. This leader also needs depth to integrate smart AI data driven insights to create ongoing engagement with clients that is part of an overall practice management and end state op model.

The ideal candidate is an expert in wealth management applications, digital transformation, and analytics, with experience leading scaled agile product teams and integrating best-in-class vendor solutions. This role will require deep collaboration with product leads (particularly with investment product experience), technology leads, operations, designers, data teams, and end users to ensure a world-class experience for our financial advisors and clients.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Vision

  • Define and execute the global strategy, vision, and roadmap for the client wealth platform, ensuring alignment with firm-wide digital wealth objectives and tied to the Citi Wealth brand

  • Reimagine and transform the client experience, shifting from a transaction- and product-driven model to an advice-first, insight-driven, and action-oriented wealth engagement platform

  • Lead the design and delivery of a mobile-first experience, ensuring seamless, personalized wealth interactions across mobile, web, and emerging digital channels

  • Establish a market-leading digital wealth experience, leapfrogging competitors and setting a new industry benchmark for client engagement and advice experiences

Platform Development

  • Oversee the creation of a digital wealth ecosystem that enables clients to:

    • Receive and act on personalized investment insights and advisor recommendations

    • Access holistic planning, portfolio analytics, and next-best-action workflows

    • Integrate a core reporting engine that seamlessly interacts from proposal, playback, monitoring, and ad hoc creation to be templatized and API flexible – moving beyond pdf interactions to digitally engaged, content integrated ones

    • Engage in secure, intuitive, and high-touch digital advisory interactions via mobile and web

    • Leverage AI-driven decision-making tools and wealth insights for proactive financial management

  • Drive platform integration with the advisor Wealth Workstation and Wealth Studio applications, ensuring seamless collaboration between advisors and clients

  • Lead client segmentation-driven experience design, tailoring functionality and features to different wealth tiers (affluent, HNW, UHNW)

Client Experience Transformation

  • Rationalize and harmonize current state, defining a clear path to execution for end state experiences

  • Elevate digital engagement by transforming the client platform into a personalized, data-driven, and interactive financial partner

  • Integrate digital tools that enable clients to connect with advisors more effectively, receive actionable insights, and make informed financial decisions

  • Drive operational efficiencies, reducing manual workflows and enhancing self-service capabilities to lower costs while improving client satisfaction

  • Establish digital collaboration tools that improve the efficiency of advisory interactions, enabling virtual advisory sessions, secure messaging / co-browsing, and shared financial planning workflows

Client Delivery Transformation

  • Lead the transition to a scaled agile delivery model, ensuring a highly efficient, product-driven organization

  • Build a team of experienced product managers to drive the goals of wealth

  • Foster an innovation culture, accelerating the delivery of new capabilities while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance

  • Establish clear OKRs / KPIs and success metrics to track adoption, platform effectiveness, and impact on net new investment assets and fee-based income growth

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience leading and managing financial advisory technology, digital wealth / investment platforms or digital transformation in Wealth Management

  • Deep expertise in wealth technology and engagement ecosystems, including financial planning, performance/client reporting, portfolio management, content management, and workflow automation

  • Mobile-first development expertise, with experience leading mobile product teams and delivering world-class mobile experiences

  • Experience integrating advisor and client platforms to drive collaboration and optimize the client-advisor relationship

  • Strong experience in vendor strategy and rationalization, selecting best-in-class wealth technology partners

  • Expertise in scaled agile transformation, with a track record of building world-class product teams in large enterprises

  • Experience in data-driven decision-making, AI-driven advisory tools, and automation

  • Ability to influence C-suite stakeholders, drive strategic investment decisions, and lead cross-functional teams

  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and execution skills to drive high-impact organizational change

  • Proven ability to drive cost savings through legacy technology decommissioning and platform modernization

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented cross-functional environment across multiple geographies

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
