Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned and deeply experienced Director to lead a significant portfolio within our Wealth Management Technology organization in India. This is a senior leadership role for a true Wealth Management Technology veteran who has built their expertise across a wide array of the domain's most critical functions. You are not just a leader, but a master craftsman who understands the intricate connections between client onboarding, CRM, advisor tools, and the data that powers them all.

The ideal candidate is a proven "leader of people" who excels at building, molding, and unifying teams. You will be the central figure responsible for weaving together disparate platforms and experiences into a cohesive whole. Critically, this role requires a hands-on practitioner with proven experience in designing and building the semantic data layer—the Ontology—on the Palantir platform, and integrating it deeply within the complex Citi ecosystem to create a true data fabric.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Platform Leadership:Own the end-to-end technology strategy and execution for a portfolio of core wealth platforms, includingClient Onboarding, CRM, External Data Interfaces, and the Advisor Workstation.
  • Palantir Ontology & Data Fabric:Lead the architecture, hands-on design, and implementation of the enterprise Wealth ManagementOntology on the Palantir platform. Drive the integration of Palantir Foundry with the broader Citi ecosystem to create a unified, semantic data layer that powers all applications.
  • Full-Stack Execution:Lead multi-disciplinary teams across the full technology stack—from the underlyingdataandservices/APIsto the front-endUI/experience layer—to deliver seamless, integrated solutions for our advisors and clients.
  • People Leadership & Team Building:Act as a dedicated "leader of people." You will be responsible forbuilding, molding, mentoring, and bringing teams together. Foster a world-class engineering culture based on collaboration, ownership, and technical excellence.
  • Architectural Vision:Drive the architectural vision for platform integration, ensuring that new solutions are built on a scalable, resilient, and unified foundation.
  • Global Collaboration:Partner with global heads of Product, Operations, and Technology to ensure your teams are delivering against the strategic priorities of the business and providing a world-class technology experience.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:15+ years of technology leadership experience, with the vast majority (10-12+ years) spent in progressively senior rolesspecifically within Wealth Management Technology.
  • Breadth of Domain Expertise:Demonstrable, deep experience across a wide range of Wealth Management functions is mandatory. This must include direct experience withClient Onboardingsystems,CRMplatforms (e.g., Salesforce),Advisor Workstationdevelopment, and the integration ofexternal data interfaces(e.g., market data, financial planning tools).
  • Palantir Ontology Expertise:Mandatory, hands-on experience designing, building, and deploying the Ontology layer within the Palantir platform.You must be able to demonstrate a deep, practical understanding of how to model a complex domain like wealth management and integrate Palantir Foundry with a diverse enterprise ecosystem.
  • Proven People Leadership:A distinguished track record as a "leader of people." You must have proven experiencebuilding teams from the ground up, mentoring senior talent, and unifying disparate groupsinto a cohesive, high-performing organization.
  • Full-Stack Acumen:A strong technical foundation and experience leading teams that span the entire technology stack, including data engineering, API development, and front-end UI/UX.
  • Architectural Mindset:A strategic thinker with a proven ability to design elegant, scalable, and integrated solutions to complex, cross-functional problems.
  • Communication & Influence:Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensus with senior executives, peers, and engineers across a global organization.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Master’s degree is a plus.
