Overview
The Group Audit (GA) function is a professional, business focused, proactive risk-based global audit team that operates with transparency, integrity, and independence, and assists the Bank’s business and infrastructure areas to identify key control weaknesses.
You will work with staff and management within GA to deliver regional and/or global finding validations, targeted reviews, and Sanctions & Embargoes related audits. You will become an integral member of a diverse high-performance Anti-Financial Crime (AFC) audit team.

What You’ll Do
- Support the assessment of finding validations by participating in walkthroughs, testing appliable controls, and ultimately concluding on remediation of the finding with the guidance of audit lead
- Support the AFC ROM PAM by regularly reporting on the status of the validations and timely escalate any delays, if required
- Draft exceptions/findings as a result of audit testing, under the supervision of the audit lead
- Keep abreast of regulatory and audit related developments in the industry and ensure effective communication to enhance regulatory knowledge throughout the wider GA team.
- Escalate key emerging risks to senior management through the AFC ROM PAM – such as ad hoc communications, monthly/quarterly control reports, and management meetings.
Skills You’ll Need
- Undergraduate or equivalent degree required; advanced degrees and relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CFA, etc.) preferred but not required;
- Ability and willingness to work in a high-pressure environment and deliver under tight deadlines;
- Team working capabilities and the ability to build strong business and team relationships;
- An analytical mindset with the ability to multi-task and work against deadlines
- An interest in the AFC regulatory environment is preferred but not required
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within GA and with stakeholders

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary, NC office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $55,000 to $85,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration
