Your key responsibilities

  • This role has responsibility for client's FX derivatives portfolios, FX stress testing, New Product Approvals, Strategic lending approvals, Capital call financing, AR methodology and Ad-Hoc projects for senior management.

  • Role responsibilities also include reviewing the effectiveness of current frameworks and methodologies as these are used and collaborates with others to improve and develop these.

  • Derivatives - Key person in APAC to monitor derivatives risk for the WM clients. This includes stress tests and margin methodology as well.

  • Strategic Lending - The new hire will focus on Strategic Lending. The transactions is complex and require to be analyzed in detail and all risks should be considered before approval.

  • New Product Approvals - The new hire will be responsible for New Product Approvals for APAC.

  • AR methodology - The new hire also will be the expert when it comes to AR methodology and advises the whole APAC on methodology in borderline and complex cases.

  • Ad-hoc projects for senior management - The new VP will be responsible for ad-hoc requests and projects from senior management.

Your skills and experience

  • 10+ years’ experience with derivatives, capital call financing and strategic/structured lending.

  • Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.

  • Team player but also able to work independently to achieve deadlines and tasks and to have strong integrity.

  • Able to review the ARs and the methodology and ensure that they are set at an appropriate level and that the methodology is sound.

  • Flexible and a good general understanding of risk and able to take on new ad-hoc projects
