Team / division overview

DWS manages around USD 280bn globally in index-based strategies across a variety of ETFs and passive mandates. The Xtrackers ETF platform is one of the leading ETF platforms globally, across equities, fixed income and commodities, 40 Act and UCITS, building our index portfolio expertise since 1999. In the US, we are a leading provider of specialized passive strategies, where we aim to provide investors with innovation, access and value.

We currently focus on helping investors in areas across ESG, Currency-hedged, High Yield, China, Factor investing (including multi-factor and dividends) and Thematics.

The Xtrackers sales team works heavily with the Xtrackers product platform, including product structuring, portfolio managers and capital markets. We cover clients directly and also in conjunction with our generalist sales team. Being a collaborative team player is imperative. We cover all client segments, ranging from financial advisors to central banks.

Role Details

As a Sales Support Analyst, you will:

  • Partner with senior management to service and grow the Xtrackers business in the intermediary space by providing support and secondary coverage for select clients

  • Provide exemplary white glove client service and responding to ongoing due diligence requests, meeting follow up, and preparing customized presentations

  • Act as a liaison between the Key Account Management (KAM) team and Marketing relating to Xtrackers conference sponsorship

  • Identify Xtrackers availability within the broker dealer landscape

  • Monitor marketing material review process with Generalist National Accounts team for focus firms

  • Analyze data from Focus firms to identify opportunities for the team

  • Act as lead for identifying opportunities with Digital Advisors

We are looking for:

  • Have a minimum of 18 months experience in the asset management industry or broader financial services, with a solid understanding/experience of ETF products

  • Are self-motivated, curious, and can work in a fast-paced environment

  • Have strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Are articulate, with the ability to write thoughtful content for client and prospect correspondence.

  • Have working knowledge of macroeconomics, capital markets and willingness to learn

  • Have the ability to communicate Xtrackers product benefits and advantages relative to competitors

  • Educated to degree level with relevant experience in Investment/Asset Management or Financial Services

Licenses required:

  • Series 7, and 63, or willing to take within the first 90 days.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $73,000 to $113,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
