Overview
The Rates & Credit Dealer-to-Client eTrading platform is used daily by Deutsche Bank Fixed Income Traders Globally and the system provides Deutsche Bank’s liquidity on Rates & Credit financial products to 10+ world's biggest multi-dealer platforms, receives and handle clients’ trading requests to execute trades, capture and service the trades through their sometimes 50year life cycle. Product range is wide - starting from Bonds, extending to REPO, Incident Reporting System (IRS) and ending with Exotic Portfolios and dealing with complex financial products, we build these systems with a traceability and recoverability in mind. Wide diversity of products allows to see different styles of processing but also requires technology expertise to find reuse opportunities between various processing flows and products. As a Java Engineer you will be involved in development of one of our next generation platforms for Rates & Credit Trading.

What You’ll Do
Work with the Team and Business stakeholders on design of new features
Implement the solution according to agreed design
Understanding of algorithms, complexity, data structures
Co-working with quality assurance (QA) team on test automation of new and existing functionality
Participate in L3 Production Support, investigate and fix production issues
Skills You’ll Need
Experience developing and deploying distributed applications
Knowledge of Java Core (collections, multi-threading, networking)
Knowledge of Java Message Service (JMS), Solace, IBM Message Queue (MQ) (or any other messaging), and basic knowledge of Linux, basic knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)
Experience of work in financial industry technology and understanding of Investment Banking financial products and associated trading workflows/platforms
Experience of work in Scrum/other Agile methodology setup

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
