Overview
As a Lead Engineer (f/m/x), you'll be part of a team building a strategic data platform that consolidates terabytes of data from 50+ systems. This data is then distributed in a unified way to systems supporting mission-critical business use cases across the Bank, and we have both end of day batch use cases with strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and near-real time intraday processing.

What You’ll Do
Develop and deliver full-cycle solutions from design to deployment, including business deliveries, new integrations, building data transformation flows on top of Clickhouse and BigQuery, Java / Kotlin microservices development for Cloud deployment
Participate in code reviews, providing feedback, ensuring high code quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions
Maintain and improve project documentation / perform knowledge sharing across teams
Own Service Level 3 (SL3) support for the product
Skills You’ll Need
Extensive experience in Core Java / Kotlin
Knowledge in Frameworks and Libraries: Spring Boot, Spring Security, Microservices architecture, RESTful Application Programming Interfaces, Kafka, MQ, etc.
Professional experience of at least one continuous integration/continuous deployment (or development) tool such as Team City, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure and in OLAP databases (ClickHouse, BigQuery, etc)
Java data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache Beam, Flink
Self-starter and a go getter
You stay current on technical trends to suggest innovative tools and approaches to interesting problems
You share your expertise with the entire Engineering organization
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
