As a member of the Talent Development and Suitability function you will be part of a team that are DB‘s recognized experts providing impactful solutions for leadership, talent & skill development, and ensuring suitability of our leaders. You will define and oversee the implementation of a talent development agenda that supports the strategic priorities of the Investment Banking Business, incorporating leadership development, skill building and talent pipeline interventions. You will drive the continuous improvement and adoption of the Investment Bank skills development curriculum across self-directed learning, classroom training and technology-led solutions that build technical, professional and leadership skills required today and in the future.

What you will do
Program manage the end to end design and delivery of key development initiatives, leading multi-functional teams including Business SMEs, vendor partners and operational support teams
Drive the annual training needs assessment process and manage the staff training budget allocation approach, ensuring optimization of budget
Develop in partnership with Business stakeholders the approach to engagement and adoption of Talent Development products, incorporating data to assess the ongoing effectiveness of Talent Development initiatives
Assess the individual and collective requirements of leaders in the Investment Bank Division and ensure a fit for purpose leadership development offering that considers Bank-wide products and the specific requirements of the Business
Deploy individual and team development interventions (e.g. coaching, leadership team effectiveness, individual development planning) for key talents
How you’ll lead
You will lead across the organization, pulling together and driving virtual multifunctional teams to deliver outcomes
You will partner with HR Business Partners, Chiefs of Staff, Business Leaders and the wider HR team
Skills you’ll need
Experience designing and delivering talent development solutions for client facing roles in large global organizations in the Financial Services sector, such as Banks, Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Wealth Management
Extensive experience in leadership development / organizational development and/or employee learning
Knowledge of the external market of learning and development solution providers suitable for client-facing Financial Services industry roles
Qualifications in and experience delivering coaching, psychometric tools, and team effectiveness tools
Knowledge about and an interest in emerging L&D technology
Skills that will help you to excel
Experience using data to assess and improve the effectiveness of talent development solutions
Experience running training needs assessment incorporating multiple data points
Strong stakeholder navigation skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience using instructional design to craft solutions, alone and in partnership with vendor partners
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $183,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
