Overview
Investment Bank Strategic Analytics is part of DB Group Strategic Analytics and is responsible for delivering quantitative, modeling, pricing and risk management tools to the Investment Banking Division. The Global Head of Credit Strategic Analytics is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the strategic platform for credit trading, delivering intraday and end-of-day pricing, risk and P&L for the Global Credit Trading business. The scope spans credit flow products (derivatives and cash), securitized credit and credit solutions/financing businesses. In addition, the holder of this role and the team they manage, will assist and advise the trading desk to monitor and optimize client flow, balance sheet and return on financial resources. We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated leader with a proven ability to understand the needs of a trading business and deliver a high quality, comprehensive risk and pricing platform which is integrated with our infrastructure functions and complies with our data and architectural standards.

What You’ll Do
- Work with the business. Drive the design, implementation and continuous enhancement of models and analytics for pricing and risk across cash products, credit derivatives, securitized products and bespoke credit solutions.
- Partner with Technology. Deliver a scalable platform and toolset for market making and franchise management to enable optimal trade execution, hedging and decision-making.
- Own and evolve the strategic roadmap for credit analytics infrastructure. Ensure alignment across the regions, enabling the business to deliver growth in revenue and profitability while being under the appropriate controls.
How You’ll Lead
- Lead and manage a global team of Strats responsible for supporting Trading, Structuring and risk management functions.
- Operate as a leader. Represent GCT and the Credit Strat team in management discussions to ensure the right strategic decisions are made
- Work with other senior managers in Group Strategic Analytics, enabling GSA to deliver on group wide priorities
Skills You’ll Need
- 10+ years of experience in a quantitative strat/quant role with a focus on credit products.
- Deep knowledge of credit markets, including HY/IG/Illiquid bonds, CDS/Index and tranche products, ABS/CLOs and other securitized assets.
- Strong background in mathematical modelling, statistics and programming.
Skills That Will Help You Excel
- Excellent Communication and stakeholder management skills, in addition to experience in leading high-performing global teams.
- Experience in building and maintaining a front-office risk and P&L platform in a large financial institution.
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $300,000 to $460,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
