Overview
The Business Line Anti-Financial Crime Complex Clients Team is responsible for performing assessments of Corporate Bank and Investment Bank clients that present increased Financial Crime Risk. The team ensures a globally holistic Financial Crime Risk view on these clients across regions and products.
In this role you will act as a direct point of contact to Senior Business and AFC stakeholders, independently perform Complex Client assessments, review assessments by other team members, and articulate the team’s view of the Financial Crime Risk presented by the client at relevant Governance Fora.

What You’ll Do
Act as AFC point of contact for Business Heads and/or Relationship Managers for Corporate Bank and Investment Bank clients subject to review by the Complex Clients Team
Perform assessments of Corporate Bank and Investment Bank clients as well as oversee and review assessments performed by other team members
Work very closely with Regional AFC teams to drive cross-product and cross-regional alignment of AFC assessments
Create briefing materials and information for Senior Business and AFC stakeholders on your reviews
Attend Governance Fora to effectively present and articulate with authority the Financial Crime Risk of Corporate Bank and Investment Bank clients reviewed
Maintain records of your assessments on relevant databases and respond to related requests from auditors, regulators, and/or third parties
How You’ll Lead
Be recognized as trusted AFC advisor to the Business and provide expert advice to support sustainable and compliant growth
Skills You’ll Need
Proven knowledge of the AFC legal and regulatory landscape
Ability and extensive experience in communicating with Senior Business and AFC Stakeholders
Ability to analyze, understand, and make recommendations on complex AFC matters
Strong knowledge of Corporate Bank and Investment Bank Business and associated products
Able to address and work collaboratively with peers across the organization
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $125,000 to $203,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
