Client 360 Sales Analytics team consumes data from across the organisation for deep data analysis and reporting to provide Deutsche Bank sales managers a clear view on clients' activity and profitability. We are seeking an experienced Oracle PL/SQL Developer with a strong background in database development to join our cross-functional application development team. The ideal candidate should have significant hands-on experience in designing, developing, tuning and maintaining PL/SQL that underpins important analytical applications. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of strategic database systems and work in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Your key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL code for database procedures, packages, functions and triggers.

  • Work as part of a cross-functional team to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications through to design, development, testing, and deployment.

  • Provide support and troubleshooting for production database systems, including diagnosing and resolving database-related issues.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, data models, and process flow diagrams.

  • Perform performance tuning and optimizations to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing.

  • Collaborate with database administrators to ensure the integrity, security, and performance of the database systems.

Your skills and experience

  • Significant professional experience in Oracle development, including strong proficiency in PL/SQL preferably to Exadata 19c

  • In-depth knowledge of database concepts, data modelling, and SQL optimization techniques.

  • Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.

  • Ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex database issues and performance bottlenecks.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision when required.
