JOB TITLE: Associate – DB9071428
DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Associate in Cary, NC to work on software development initiatives directly supporting the Bank’s Fixed Income trading desk, including developing and enhancing E-trading platforms. Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent and two (2) years of experience developing Java applications using Object-Oriented programming (OOP) principles; utilizing Spring Framework modules, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC, to build and deploy high-performing enterprise-level applications; developing and consuming web services using JSON, XML, REST, and SOAP to facilitate smooth communication between distributed systems; designing and implementing message brokers using Apache Kafka and Solace to facilitate real-time asynchronous communication between applications; designing and coordinating database schemas for SQL databases including Oracle, to ensure optimal query performance; implementing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito for Test-Driven Development; using Gherkin language and Cucumber automated tests and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) methodologies to improve code quality and align with business requirements; building enterprise applications processes using Maven and Gradle; implementing application logging using Log4J for debugging and performance monitoring; using Splunk to analyze and monitor application logs to identify and resolve critical issues in real-time; using GIT for source code versioning; setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to automate testing, building, and deployment processes; working with containerization tools including Docker and Kubernetes to deploy and manage applications in Cloud environments; using JMX to monitor and manage Java applications. Salary range: $118,000.00 – $140,000.00/year. This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
