Overview

As a Transaction Manager in Trust and Securities Services, you play a pivotal role in deal implementation and other documentation-related matters for the Americas Corporate Trust products. Our capital markets products include corporate debt, money market instruments and securitizations. Additionally, we support project financing, loans, and escrows. You should possess a strong understanding of complex financing structures, deal documentation, risk management, and the closing process. In this role, you will also provide remote oversight into certain deals administered by product teams located outside of New York. As an externally facing specialist, you will engage all parties involved in a deal to optimize the overall client experience with Deutsche Bank.

What You’ll Do

  • Take the lead in coordinating the new deal implementation process for a full range of financings, including negotiating transaction documents, recognizing areas of risk, and coordinating with all deal parties to ensure a smooth closing. Handle post-closing matters such as amendments, waivers, litigation and defaults
  • Work closely with Sales and Client Services as an advisor and escalation point regarding deal-related questions and risk factors
  • Work effectively with our internal legal department as well as external law firms to ensure compliance and address legal issues
  • Oversee certain activities for services performed outside of New York
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as needed to support the business
  • Take a client-centric approach to engage all parties in optimizing the overall client experience with Deutsche Bank

Skills You’ll Need

  • Possess a thorough understanding of various deal structures and documentation for a wide range of financings in the Corporate Trust arena, with specific expertise in the duties of a corporate trustee and agent
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal, written, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions
  • Willingness to occasionally work outside of normal business hours as required by the timing or pace of a particular deal
  • Excel in working with clients and external counterparties to foster strong relationships

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $80,000 to $130,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
