The Investment Bank (IB) Control Architect team within the Investment Bank Central organization is mandated to drive the design and implementation of material programmes of work impacting cross IB and cross Divisional work, examples in 2025 and 2026 include improvements in the Bank’s risk and control assessment to include data and AI. The role is for a Business Analyst to be involved, with senior programme owners, in the design and delivery of these projects. This includes input into design, ownership of actions to support design and implementation, impact analysis, planning, reporting and coordination of requirements and preparing management updates and workshops.

Your key responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the individual components of design or delivery withing a programme
  • Support management with preparation of workshops and status updates
  • Impact analysis for design options
  • Coordination across functions and Divisions to ensure complete stakeholder engagement
  • Communication of risks, issues and statuses for assignment programmes in various meetings as required

Your skills and experience

  • Experience in the design and delivery of complex programmes
  • Knowledge/ understanding of Non Financial processes
  • Ideally, experience in control environment enhancement (design and effectiveness testing; risk type analysis; target state definition)
  • Collaborative and disciplined approach to programme management combined with proven ability to working dynamically and with agility across multiple functions to deliver critical outcomes to pre-agreed plans
  • Flexibility regarding programme subject matter
