Our Foreign Exchange (FX) Technology team are working with modern technology to support a top 3 leadership position of Deutsche Bank in Foreign Exchange space. You’ll be part of a global team working directly with the front-office technology supporting electronic FX business that involve a very large amount of data, strong performance requirements and globally distributed infrastructure.

As an IT Application Owner you will be responsible for supporting and governing development teams to achieve application compliance with both internal policies and external regulations. This includes but is not limited to information security, data protection, record keeping, business continuity planning and disaster recovery.

Your key responsibilities

• IT Application Owner serves as single point of contact for their product for all the incoming requests from various teams across the Bank (including internal and external IT audit) and for all internal projects and programs, for instance: IT compliance attestations, information security attestations, disaster recovery coordination, datacenter move coordination
• They make sure there is an ordered and understandable book of work for Information Security, Access Control and general IT policy compliance topics which development teams can use
• IT Application Owner should be good at managing non-financial risks (e.g. information security). They need the ability to identify, manage and address risks effectively.

Your skills and experience

• IT Application Owner needs strong time management skills, which will help them keep everything on track and manage several work streams simultaneously
• Strong knowledge of modern information security concepts including transport layer security, asymmetric cryptography and other IS relevant topics
• Ability to negotiate effectively with the developer teams, PMs, project coordinators, auditors, and risk managers
• IT Application Owner should have a knowledge of Unix and Windows operating systems and databases
• Understanding of how networks and client-server communication work would be beneficial
• It is a plus to have an ITIL or other IT, Information Security or Project Management certification
