Overview

As a Senior Engineer in the Archiving Tech product family, you will design and deliver innovative solutions that power our Archival ecosystem. You will drive the development of a cutting-edge platform that ensures scalability, security, and reliability for critical business processes. In this role, you will collaborate across teams, translate business needs into technical outcomes, and directly influence the future of our technology and culture. Your contributions will enable seamless delivery of business goals while advancing our digital transformation strategy.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions across cloud and microservices platforms

  • Lead end-to-end execution of business deliveries, ensuring technical alignment with strategic goals

  • Collaborate with analytics, user experience, engineering, and product teams to deliver impactful solution

  • Optimize performance, security, and reliability while resolving complex production issues

  • Drive Agile ceremonies, refine requirements, and identify risks and opportunities

  • Mentor junior engineers and support knowledge-sharing across the team

Skills You’ll Need

  • Proficiency in .NET Framework, C Sharp (C#), microservices, application programming interface (API) development, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

  • Strong background in containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes, along with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

  • Expertise in system design, testing strategies, and performance optimization

  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions with strong analytical skills

  • Solid understanding of security best practices and problem resolution in production environments

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Experience with additional technologies such as Python, Java, or Terraform

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across distributed, multicultural teams

  • Demonstrated ability to balance business needs with information technology (IT) standards and risk reduction

  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments

  • Desire to continuously learn and adopt new technologies

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
