Overview
As a Second Line of Defence (2nd LoD) Information Technology Risk Specialist you will be part of a global team of 12 with staff in Singapore, Mumbai, Frankfurt, Milan, London, Jacksonville and New York. The team monitors Information Technology (IT) Risks across the Group within all Divisions & Regions and provides Senior Management and Regulators with an independent assessment of the Information Technology Risks. You will provide support to team leads on various topics including risk assessments, targeted reviews, incidents root cause thematic, new business product assessments, transformation risk assessments, regulatory exams/enquires, emerging risk analysis. The team members come mainly from Information Technology backgrounds either within Project Management, Business Analysis, Support, Audit, IT Risk Management or Leadership roles and have experience of between 10 and 26 years within Information Technology.

What You’ll Do
Monitoring of a specific business divisions’ IT Risk Profile including risk appetite breaches, remediation including Risk and Control assessment review and challenge
Performing and presenting results of targeted analysis on key IT Risks
Inputting into the maturing of the IT Risk Framework, Policies and Control Objectives
Exploring the impact of emerging IT risks and monitoring the impact to the IT Risk Profile of major bank-wide IT transformations e.g. Google Cloud, Digitalization, Robotics
Performing assessment of operating/design effectiveness of key controls such as software development life cycle (SDLC), Resilience Architecture, Auto Deployments
Providing support to UKI/ECB based regulatory enquiries and analysis required
Skills You’ll Need
A good understanding of Information Technology and how it is used within financial services
An understanding of IT Risk Frameworks such as COBIT, ITIL and key IT Regulatory laws
Experience of working with end user IT systems such as MS 365 apps, further experience of data analytics/reporting/business intelligence systems such as Tableau, Power BI is an advantage
Knowledge of Operational Risk Management principles and practices is an advantage

Comfortable working in a large complex institution and directly facing off to key internal stakeholders

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $78,000 to $111,800. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
