Overview
To be successful in the Debt Syndicate Trading Assistant position you will need to be detail oriented, dedicated, and strong communicators. You should be naturally inquisitive and comfortable with high pressure situations at times. This position is a full-time, in-office position. It is dynamic role with day-to-day workflow dependent on the pipeline of bond mandates, entwined with longer term strategic regulatory and operations projects including technological advances.

What You’ll Do
- Operational Functions: Responsible for managing the booking of all Syndicate New Issue trading activity and related UST hedging tickets using Deutsche Bank’s proprietary DBSyndicate e-Ticketing platform and Bloomberg’s trading book platform; liaise and coordinate with syndicate operational personnel for all new issue set-up and settlement; interact with global sales professionals to ensure accurate and timely booking of new issue tickets; responsible for monitoring and resolving all trades settlement issues
- Deal Flow Related Functions: Manage new issue deal set-up process on DBSyndicate e-book platform; work closely with the desk to coordinate the final settlement new issue deal process; responsible for coordinating all deal regulatory reporting requirements
- P&L/Positions: Reconcile Daily & Monthly P&L with desk and provide EOD communication with various internal groups including Business Area Controlling; communicate with DCM personnel to manage P&L daily postings; reconcile positions and appropriate reporting as required
Skills You’ll Need
- Basic understanding of bond markets
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Bloomberg would be beneficial
- If selected, you will be required to attain Series 7 & 63 financial licenses if you do not already have them

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $90K to $139K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
