Since 2009, JSC "Deutsche Bank DBU" (Deutsche Bank Ukraine) operates as corporate bank in Ukraine, subsidiary of Deutsche Bank AG, and offers a full range of corporate banking products and services to its clients, i.e. subsidiaries of multinational companies and top tier local corporates.

We are looking for a KYC Operator within our Client Lifecycle Management department.

The main purpose of the position is to ensure client onboarding and ongoing expectations are in line with regulatory standards and jurisdiction.

Your key responsibilities

  • Focuses on client onboarding (COB) and exceptions in line with regulatory standards and jurisdictions.

  • Provides regular communication to senior bank stakeholders on changes in KYC, Anti Money Laundering (‘AML’) and Anti Financial Crime (‘AFC’) areas and ensures any changes required are implemented with minimum disruptions.

  • Assists the bank’s clients, managing all KYC and account opening requirements with appropriate governance and controls, operating in an environment of strict adherence to Standard Operating procedures and Operation Level Agreements (OLA’s) to achieve accurate and timely account opening to help execute trades.

  • Manages documentation, prepares statistics and reports.

  • Maintains relations with partner departments.

Your skills and experience

  • Min 1 year of banking experience.

  • University or college degree in Economics (preferably).

  • Advanced PC knowledge with MS office applications.

  • Appropriate communication skills at all levels.

  • Strong customer service orientation and advisory attitude.

  • Positive, open-minded, team-player, high drive and energy, strives for the best results.

  • Native-level proficiency in Ukrainian and professional-level proficiency in English.
