Overview
The Global Emerging Markets LatAm Structuring team is hiring a Director-level Structurer to continue growing the business which is going through an expansion. We are looking for a team member to interact with clients, salespeople, and traders and to structure both derivative and financing transactions. Our work involves developing and executing tailored structured products and solutions that meet the specific needs of our Latin American clients, across corporates, financial institutions, and sovereigns.

What You’ll Do
- Actively engage with clients across Latin America and develop tailored hedging solutions that meet their needs
- Collaborate with Sales and Trading to create, model and indicatively price new transactions
- Generate strategic and tactical trade ideas for institutional clients
- Manage the execution of structured derivative transactions including liaising with all the relevant internal control functions for approvals
- Monitor existing derivative positions in books for restructuring opportunities
How You’ll Lead
- Manage the execution process of complex and highly structured transactions which requires well-coordinated interactions with the bank’s key control functions such as Legal, Credit, Accounting, Tax and Compliance
- Daily interaction with the client coverage teams to jointly engage with clients to develop tailored hedging solutions
- Daily interaction with trading colleagues to jointly agree on terms for structured derivative transactions
Skills You’ll Need
- A strong understanding of FX/rates markets and derivatives
- Strong quantitative and technical background
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Proven experience working with derivative transactions
- A strong understanding of the legal and regulatory framework for derivative transactions across Latin America
- Professional proficiency in English and a fluency in Spanish is preferred

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $200K to $387K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
