Details of the Division and Team:
Deutsche Bank’s (‘DB’) Listed Derivatives Execution Solutions (‘LDES’ team) supports all aspects of Deutsche Bank’s Listed Derivatives execution platform delivery to its internal & external clients.
LDES is a hybrid team of voice execution and electronic trading specialists (High Touch/Low Touch) who focus on voice execution, electronic trading and with a mind for post trade clearing for the Listed Derivatives & Markets Clearing (LD&C) business globally. Electronic trading inclusive of High Touch, Algorithmic Trading, TCA, Direct (‘DMA’), Co-location and Sponsored Market Access (DMA).
This role is based in Japan and will have a strong local Japan growth focus, while also facilitating growth of and proactive interaction with the global LD&C business, while also partnering with and driving collaborative business across the FIC (Fixed Income & Currencies) wider franchise.
This is a client-centric role which drives the provision of execution solutions to DB’s institutional clients, advising clients on ‘best-fit’ products, platform delivery, handling of client orders, risk management, the monitoring of client orders and working with clients to resolve all manner of trading related issues.
The LDES team operate a 24x6 global model with an emphasis on team collaboration across the global day.

Your key responsibilities:
- Client coverage of Japanese domestic (native Japanese) and international base (native/business level English).
- Key executor and facilitator of client orders for both screen and block pricing (Voice), and provide trade recaps to clients.
- Preparing commentary, market colour, regular updates to clients and ideas to attract LD business to Deutsche Bank.
- Monitoring and management of electronic trading orders, including Algorithms and managing issues/outages.
- Assist in developing business strategy for the Listed Derivatives & Markets Clearing (LD&C) business in Japan.
- Drive Sales of LD&C services with prospective and existing clients to bring in new flows or increase existing flows.
- Distribution of Market Clearing products to domestic and international clients, partnering with the Platform Sales force.
- On-boarding and documentation process management and a provision of high quality client service.
- Work with key functions: Credit risk, Operations, IT, Compliance and Legal to facilitate onboarding of client flows.
Your skills and experience:
- The candidate needs to have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working on a similar sales, execution desk, electronic
- trading or similar roles, ideally in Listed Derivatives (Futures and Options), or similar product set.
- Fully licenced to execute Futures on OSE/JPX and other global exchanges and the skills to enable timely precise
- execution of high volumes.
- Knowledgeable of the many functions on Bloomberg and various trading platforms along with block procedures.
- A good understanding and keen to learn and sell DB’s electronic & algo offering.
- They will require strong relationships in the Industry and a solid customer base, especially amongst the major Japanese
- domestic trading firms (banks, asset managers, hedge funds etc.).
- The candidate needs to be a team player who can work well across various teams in their region along with the LD teams
- across various locations around the globe.
- Fluency in Japanese and business level English
- Required: JSDA Class-1 Sales Representative (including Specific OTC Derivatives Business) (Japan)
