As a Direct Support Analyst, you will be central to Deutsche Bank’s front-office operations, providing hands-on support for Trader voice systems, desktop infrastructure, and end-user computing. This role suits candidates searching for “trading floor support jobs,” “end user services analyst,” or “IT support roles in banking.”

You will join the UK Direct Support team, part of the Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI) division, where your work directly impacts the performance and reliability of critical trading systems. Collaborating with global teams, you will resolve complex incidents and drive service improvements.

In this role, you will take ownership of technical issues, build strong relationships with front-office stakeholders, and help shape the future of Direct Support services at Deutsche Bank.

Your key responsibilities

  • Assist with incident and service request handling via ServiceNow in an ITIL-aligned environment, working Monday–Friday on a shift basis (7am–7pm)
  • Support live trading operations by helping troubleshoot urgent issues and escalating where needed
  • Provide technical support for Microsoft technologies (Windows 10/11, Office 365), market data platforms (Bloomberg, Eikon), and internal applications
  • Help troubleshoot across networks, Java, SQL, Excel, VBA, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager
  • Participate in hardware/software installations, upgrades, and IMAC activities (e.g. workstations, printers, phones)
  • Monitor key business desks and assist with mobile device support (Android/iOS)

Your skills and experience

  • Good technical knowledge of Windows 10/11, Mac OS, iOS, Android, Microsoft 365, and common desktop hardware
  • Exposure to virtualized desktops (VDI), Microsoft Endpoint Manager, and scripting tools like PowerShell
  • Understanding networks and experience with user/device management tools; scripting or trader voice support is a plus
  • Experience in desktop support within a corporate setting; financial services experience is beneficial
  • Strong communication and troubleshooting skills; familiar with ITIL practices and able to work under pressure
  • Relevant IT qualifications or degree (e.g. Microsoft certifications); must be available for on-site shift work (7am–7pm, Monday–Friday) with occasional weekend support. Hybrid working is not applicable
