Trust and Agency Services Operations (TAS Ops) provides a range of services and functions to Trust and Agency Services Business. A key function within TAS OPS is management of Strategic Change Projects and the application of Agile Principles to our change program.

This role will report into the EMEA Head of TAS Operations, managing the London TAS Operations teams which provide a localized support and management oversight function for the TAS Business owning all management and resolution of issue requiring escalation to resolution. To provide remote direction to DIPL OFFSHORE TEAM, to identify servicing needs for new product structures and to ensure to ensure that all operational responsibilities are understood and effectively processed. To ensure that a high level of customer service is provided to clients, both internal and external and to oversee that daily processing is carried out effectively and accurately whilst providing expertise to both improve workflows and the technical ability of DIPL OFFSHORE TEAM. Provide a detailed knowledge of operational taxes in relation to the internal and external reporting and obligations of the TAS business.

Your key responsibilities

  • Manage team of 4 directs responsible for providing the appropriate support infrastructure between the Business Middle and Front Office and the off-shored Operations unit. Including responsibility for all operational tax related issues

  • Support the Corporate Trust oversight of DIPL OFFSHORE TEAM key risk controls i.e. Nostros, Payables & Receivables, Errors & Claims, Overdrawn Accounts, Cash v Obligations, Prescribed Funds by providing a ‘consultancy / expert‘ opinion on clearance.

  • The ongoing development of TAS London Operations. This would include process scoping, developing and providing Operational and Clearing System expertise to the Business and other parts of Operations Globally.

  • Interact with the offshore DIPL OFFSHORE TEAM TAS Operations unit , based in India to ensure timely resolution of client and Global TSS Business escalations.

  • Be the main point of contact for the TAS Business when dealing with external regulators, internal & external Legal teams, ICSD Tax Groups and internal related departments e.g. Deutsche Bank, London Taxation and all TAS Business Groups.

Your skills and experience

  • Excellent knowledge in Corporate Trust products – Primary and Secondary including Issuances and Payments.

  • In depth knowledge of foreign withholding tax and treaty relief regimes from a Custodial perspective.

  • ICSD Clearing System and Broad Corporate Trust experience

  • Relationship Management experience

  • Operational and Line management experience.
