Overview

Group Treasury is responsible for managing the financial resources of the firm through capital management, liquidity management, asset and liability management, funding, and other core treasury activities. As a Transfer Pricing & Balance Sheet Group Treasury resides within the Group Finance organization led by the Group Chief Financial Officer. In the Funds Transfer Pricing & Balance Sheet Management you will be responsible for all Deutsche Bank legal entities within the Americas Region. Your core function as a part of the balance sheet management team is to strengthen the analytical toolset which it uses to monitor and steer the bank’s financial resource deployment.

What You’ll Do

  • Own existing FTP methodologies and its implementation, perform periodic reviews, support audit/governance processes, suggest enhancements that can be implemented for better risk capturing within a methodology/process
  • Calculation of product FTP prices based on actual product volumes and live FTP curves Ad hoc analysis / presentations to support FTP framework development / enhancement
  • Improve existing processes of calculating the FTP charges and operationally booking them against the business units on a periodic basis
  • Study macro-economic environment and suggest changes in existing methodology based
  • Act as a functional tester for testing of bank’s new IT systems, being developed to automate existing FTP processes

Skills You’ll Need

  • Experience in dealing with price verification or risk calculation or PnL reporting for Fixed income products like Bonds, Interest rate swaps, Cross-currency swaps etc
  • Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to work independently, preferably with an understanding of a bank’s Treasury funding costs, liquidity management and financial resources
  • Strong quantitative investigative skills, with good experience in advance Excel Python knowledge is a plus, not mandatory
  • Ability to interface with demanding stakeholders in business and infrastructure functions. Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in financial modelling/pricing, data analytics, and process automation

Expectations

It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York City office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $142,250. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
