Job Title Information Security Risk Specialist

This role is within the 2nd Line of Defence (LoD) Information Security (IS) Risk and monitors IS Risks across the Group within all Divisions & Regions and provides Senior Management and Regulators with an independent assessment of the Information Security Risks. In this role, you will provide support on various topics including risk assessments, targeted reviews, incidents root cause thematic, new business product assessments, transformation risk assessments, regulatory exams/enquires, emerging risk analysis.

Your key responsibilities

  • Reporting and escalation of any Information Security Risk Appetite breaches
  • Performing and present targeted reviews on key areas
  • Supporting with reviews of 1LoD Risk and Control Assessments
  • Report and present the Regional and Divisional Information Security Risk Appetite Metrics in various forums
  • Oversee 1LOD Risk Owners on risk breaches and their remediation glide paths
  • Lead on specific tasks within the Team’s Book of Work

Your skills and experience

  • Experience in Information Security with experience in the Finance industry and/or a major Technology company is required
  • Comfortable working in a large complex institutions and directly facing off to key internal stakeholders, experience of presenting on Information Security Risk topics to senior management
  • Strong understanding and proven depth knowledge of IS and IT Risk Frameworks
  • Experience of working with end user IT systems
  • Relevant professional certifications are a plus
