Overview
As an Information Security Specialist (Assistant Vice President), you will be a key member of the Information Security and Threat Operations team, focusing on threat analytics and strengthening the organization’s cyber defense. You will help safeguard internet browsing and endpoint devices, ensuring the organization stays secure and compliant against new and existing threats. This role demands both strategic insight and technical expertise, as well as strong cross-functional collaboration skills. You will directly influence decisions on cyber defense, risk management, and the automation of security operations.

What You’ll Do
Lead the execution of an enterprise-wide security strategy, ensuring Zscaler solutions are effectively aligned with the organization's information security objectives and efforts to reduce operational risk
Provide strategic direction for the seamless integration of Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA) with Microsoft 365 and other core enterprise platforms to strengthen threat detection and prevention capabilities
Promote automation and operational efficiency by leveraging Chronicle SOAR and Azure Logic Apps to improve threat detection, incident response, and the accuracy of security reporting
Serve as a trusted advisor to advanced security and translating complex Threat operations requirements into practical risk mitigation strategies that enable safety and compliance
Mentor and support technical teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement throughout the security engineering community
Work collaboratively with global Cybersecurity, Threat Response, Red/Blue Teams, and Architecture leaders to define and advance strategic roadmaps for protecting end users and devices
Skills You’ll Need
Proven experience in Information Security and End Points Security, ideally within financial services or other regulated sectors
Demonstrated expertise in managing, configuring and enhancing security policies on Enterprise security tools (EDR/XDR, Proxy, DNS, Firewalls
Expertise in threat analysis, threat hunting, detection and prevention within Zscaler and Microsoft ecosystems
Proficiency in scripting and automation (Azure Logic Apps, Chronicle SOAR) for use case
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex technical concepts in business terms
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities with a focus on sustainable risk reduction and innovation
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Jacksonville, FL office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Jacksonville is $78,000 to $120,500. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
