Overview
We are seeking a Technology Management Senior Analyst to support Rates trading and risk applications by applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to real-time, business-critical systems. This role focuses on ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability while partnering closely with Traders, Strategists, and Development teams.
You will serve as a key point of contact during production incidents, drive continuous improvement through automation and monitoring, and help align reliability practices with business objectives. The role requires strong technical expertise, sound judgment under pressure, and clear communication with both business stakeholders and senior technologists. You will also contribute to team development by promoting engineering best practices and reducing manual effort and operational risk.

What You’ll Do
Act as first-line support for Rates trading applications, resolving production incidents to minimize downtime and business impact
Perform root cause analysis and lead blameless post-incident reviews, driving preventative and long-term solutions
Communicate incident status, impact, and remediation plans clearly to business partners and technology leadership
Own and enhance application monitoring, alerting, and automation to improve platform stability and reduce manual effort
Manage capacity planning and cost optimization to ensure efficient and resilient use of technology resources
Partner with development teams to design, deploy, and support scalable, fault-tolerant solutions aligned to business needs
Skills You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Hands-on experience supporting front-office trading systems within financial services
Strong knowledge of Linux and Unix operating systems, Structured Query Language (SQL), and scripting languages
Experience applying Site Reliability Engineering principles to production environments
Ability to follow and enforce incident, change, and problem management processes
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Proficiency in a programming language such as Python or Java
Knowledge of fixed income products, market events, market data feeds, and the end-to-end trading lifecycle
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, or Geneos
Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
A proactive, improvement-focused mindset with an interest in mentoring and automation
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $142,250, Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications.Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
