Overview
In this role you will be a Director within Private Credit & Infrastructure (PCI) to work in the Fund Finance pod, specifically responsible for securitized product repo. The Fund Finance business within PCI provides fund recourse portfolio and single name financing from Deutsche Bank’s balance sheet to private equity, credit, and other investment funds. The team manages a principal financing book of more than $10bn. The role combines trader, structurer, and credit analyst features and requires strong quantitative abilities for pricing and risk management as well as good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to be able to engage with external clients, internal risk, and control functions. Duties encompass the full range of transaction work streams: including determining pricing, haircuts and other risk parameters (including fund recourse terms/ covenants), associated bookings for trades, monitoring and engaging in risk mitigating actions (eg. margin calls, restrikes, etc.) and maintaining and optimizing funding profile for the book. This role will work closely with the ABS trading desk as part of the business’ JV agreement for securitized product financing.

What You’ll Do

  • Senior day to day abs repo trader
  • Responsibility for overseeing all aspects of 4bn+ abs repo book including asset performance, counterparty quality and appropriate risk management and execution
  • Work with internal functions to onboard clients, risk approve transactions and help develop / improve systems for monitoring and execution
  • Interact with key clients and represent firm at industry events
  • Help develop client and asset strategy with key stakeholders

How You’ll Lead

  • knowledge of variety of ABS asset classes including ability to model in intex

Skills You’ll Need

  • Director level repo trader with experience in variety of ABS asst classes (CMBS, RMBS, CLOs)
  • Operational experience with repo processes including legal, risk, documentation, settlement i.e., bachelor’s degree in specific field

Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $190K to $330K. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
