Overview
You will support the execution and ongoing enhancement of the Data Quality Issue Management (DQIM) framework, ensuring issues are consistently identified, structured, and progressed to resolution across business divisions. You will also support the linkage of data quality issues to business impact, including adjustments and regulatory outcomes, to inform prioritization and decision making. You will work closely with divisional stakeholders, data offices, and other central teams to drive adoption of DQIM processes, improve data quality outcomes, and enable transparency into issue remediation. You will also contribute to maintenance of a reliable issue inventory and strengthening governance, reporting, and regulatory readiness across the CUSO data landscap.

What You’ll Do
Maintain and govern the U.S. Data Quality issue inventory, including issue intake, classification, and lifecycle tracking across process stages
Support business and data office stakeholders in defining materiality and prioritization criteria to support consistent triage of issues based on business impact, including linkage to adjustments and EUDAs
Facilitate and challenge root cause analysis to ensure issues are clearly defined, consistently structured, and actionable for remediation
Track remediation progress across stakeholders, identify risks to delivery, and escalate where timelines or outcomes are at risk
Produce and enhance reporting on issue status, aging, and remediation progress to support governance forums and senior stakeholder oversight
How You’ll Lead
Partner with business stakeholders and Divisional Data Offices (DDOs) to reinforce consistent adoption of DQIM standards and framework
Provide structured challenge to issue definition, root cause analysis, and remediation plans to improve quality and comparability across the portfolio
Drive accountability for issue progression and resolution through active coordination, escalation, and clear reporting of risks and dependencies
Skills You’ll Need
Strong understanding of data quality issue management, including issue lifecycle management, root cause analysis, and remediation tracking within large financial institutions
Experience working across front-to-back data flows, including operational processes, financial reporting, and regulatory reporting
Working knowledge of core data management capabilities, including data governance, critical data elements, data lineage, and data controls
Ability to structure and analyze complex issues, identify key drivers, and assess remediation options across business and technology domains
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively across business, operations, technology, and data functions
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Broader exposure to data management disciplines such as data architecture, metadata management, and data controls
Experience with data quality tooling and issue tracking tools as well as reporting platforms (e.g., Tableau)
Ability to translate DQ issues to measurable business impact, including operational disruption, financial adjustments, and reporting risk
Experience supporting governance forums and preparing executive-level materials
Strong attention to detail, combined with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive outcomes across multiple stakeholders
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary, NC office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $125,000 to $170,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
