Team / division overview
The Global Passive Operations function sits within the COO organization and plays a pivotal role as the operational backbone of the Passive business. We partner closely with Passive Portfolio Management, Product, Capital Markets, Operations, and Technology, ensuring seamless execution, continuous improvement, and operational excellence across the full investment lifecycle.
Our team of 30+ professionals is spread across London, Frankfurt, New York, Pune, Bangalore, and Mumbai, offering you daily exposure to diverse perspectives, markets, and cultures.
Role Details
As an Assistant Portfolio Management - Senior Operations Analyst you will be responsible for:
Provide dedicated operational support to Passive Portfolio Management teams
Collaborate with external partners such as index providers, valuation agents, and custodians, as well as internal teams across the organization
Monitor index changes, corporate actions, and portfolio cash flows, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Perform performance analysis and prepare regular performance attribution reports
Monitor portfolio risk exposures in line with internal policies and regulatory standards
Support clear and timely stakeholder communication, helping resolve issues efficiently
Contribute to the execution of the global Passive Operations strategy
Support fund launches, lifecycle events, product initiatives in collaboration with Product and Capital Markets
Identify opportunities to enhance processes and improve day to day operational workflows
We are looking for:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (CFA charter holders preferred)
Up to 3 years of experience in the asset management industry
A strong interest in and understanding of ETFs and passive investment strategies
Solid knowledge of equity and fixed income instruments, including derivatives
Advanced Excel skills and strong capability in analysing and presenting complex data
VBA and Phyton skills are a plus
Strong communication skills and the ability to take the initiative to resolve issues
A structured, analytical mindset with the ability to quickly grasp new topics
A proactive attitude, curiosity, and the confidence to challenge the status quo
Strong teamwork skills in a fast paced, international environment
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
