Overview
A builder and early adopter who turns emerging AI capabilities into practical developer workflows. Enable adoption across teams through hands‑on solutions, guidance, and measurable outcomes. Ensure solutions align with security, safety, quality, and operational expectations, escalating gaps early. Feed learnings back into standards and platform roadmaps. Inform what to scale, what to stop, and what to adjust based on delivery and adoption signals.

What You’ll Do
Apply emerging technologies early and convert ideas into working solutions quickly, with pragmatic guardrails
Build practical developer workflows hands-on using modern AI tools (IDE, code review, testing, documentation, and CI/CD touchpoints
Contribute to transformation initiatives with clear outcomes, adoption targets, and success metrics
Communicate progress and value to stakeholders using evidence, not anecdotes
Ensure solutions align with security, safety, quality, and operational expectations, escalating gaps early
Feed learnings back into standards and platform roadmaps (what to scale, what to stop, what to adjust)
How You’ll Lead
Partner with engineering teams to discover real needs, validate value, and shape solutions that can scale
Support adoption of new approaches across engineering teams through enablement assets (examples, templates, playbooks, workshops, office hours)
Skills You’ll Need
Strong hands-on engineering background with recent coding experience
Early adopter mindset with practical, disciplined use of new technologies (build, measure, iterate)
Builder mentality with ability to execute independently while collaborating effectively
Experience in consulting, customer engineering, developer productivity, or similar roles focused on adoption and outcomes
Exposure to transformation or large-scale change initiatives, with an understanding of adoption mechanics. Solid communication skills with technical and business stakeholders
Skills That Will Help You Excel
Experience working across multiple teams or domains and adapting to different environments
Strong interest in modern tools, with demonstrated experimentation and continuous learning
Good judgment balancing speed, quality, risk, and security in an enterprise setting
Expectations
It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $125,000 to $185,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of remuneration.
