You will be part of a highly motivated, technically strong Trade Floor Support team providing dedicated desktop support to demanding front office users working across multiple products – not limited to FX, Debt, Emerging Markets and Corporate Finance.

You will be directly involved in supporting all front office technology, projects and have a responsibility for maintaining on prem remote racked based compute solution as well as the Disaster Recovery site. You will have exposure to innovative technologies and products in a transformational environment. Working alongside experts in engineering, product, and the wider End user Computing team.

Your key responsibilities

  • Maintaining a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles (ITIL based environment)
  • Understanding of Remote technologies (Citrix). Mixture of virtual and physical end points; Design and procedure writing skills to aid Global teams.
  • Technical leader for the support team who can develop and mentor junior talent
  • Prioritising and executing service requests. Making sure that assignments are scheduled and completed in a timely manner; Assisting with upgrades and deployment of new products - software and hardware
  • Performing ticket analysis to identify common issues and trends. Recommending corrective actions to eradicate underlying root causes. Engaging with Desktop and Windows engineering, IT service management, and other teams to design and implement remedial plans
  • Participating in ad hoc weekend working and the team on-call rota as required

Your skills and experience

  • Solid trade floor desktop support
  • Experience in managing high impacting incidents as well as pro-active problem management
  • In-depth knowledge of Windows 10/Office 365 suite of products, particularly Excel and Outlook, as well as plugins
  • In-depth knowledge of Market Data/Trading/Execution platforms
  • Excellent client facing skills, face to face or via phone/chat/email
  • Experience in managing and supporting VOIP phones, turrets, and mobile devices
