Job Title: 2025 Associate – Advisory – Middle East

Evercore’s Middle East team covers the Middle East region with a generalist focus both in terms of industries and products, in close coordination with sector and product teams across the globe. Its clients include Sovereign Wealth Funds, private and public companies, as well as government-owned enterprises.

The Evercore team is looking to expand its generalist team with an Associate hire in Saudi Arabia. The team is seeking a highly motivated person with the desire and flexibility to work in an entrepreneurial environment and the ability to learn on the job. This role requires a person located in Saudi Arabia or willing to relocate there, and fluency in Arabic is a must.

Primary Responsibilities

Associates are expected to handle multiple projects simultaneously and exhibit a strong motivation to learn and work diligently.

Associates work on a variety of assignments including private and public M&A, capital raising and capital structure mandates as well as client pitching. Primary day-to-day tasks to include:

• The preparation of detailed financial and strategy presentations
• Assist in the execution of M&A transactions, including involvement in all deal aspects from origination to completion
• Drafting Confidential Information Memorandums and preparing pitching materials
• Complete oversight over financial and valuation models
• Supervising and guiding junior team members, including reviewing and commenting on work produced by analysts
• Liaising with other teams in Evercore’s global network

The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate:

• A strong interest in and understanding of corporate finance
• Sound problem-solving skills
• Project management skills
• Independence, confidence and self-motivation
• Ability to multitask and work on multiple assignments in parallel

Specific Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or higher (Management or Finance preferred)
• Enthusiastic, outgoing and achievement-oriented character
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to articulate ideas, both written and oral
• Advanced Microsoft Office and other common investment banking application skills (e.g. Factset, Bloomberg)
• Fluency in English and Arabic is a must
• Prior experience gained in a similar role in a financial advisory or banking organisation
• Located or willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia
