Its clients include general partners across a broad range of alternative investment strategies and asset classes, including buyouts, growth equity, private credit, infrastructure, energy and power, and real assets. PFG advises on and executes all facets of the fundraising process – from market assessment and competitive positioning to the development of marketing materials, targeted investor outreach, and successful capital closings.

What is the Position? Evercore seeks to hire an experienced Analyst or Associate for its Private Funds Group in New York.

Primary Responsibilities: This role will focus on Latin American limited partner (LP) coverage and work closely with global general partners (GPs) on fundraising and strategic initiatives. It offers significant exposure to senior professionals and a unique opportunity to contribute to Evercore’s growth in Latin America. This dynamic role involves hands-on execution in capital raising, investor coverage, and strategic advisory for alternative investment funds. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Drive PFG’s expansion in Latin America by cultivating relationships with key limited partners and identifying strategic growth opportunities
  • Support fundraising execution across Evercore’s platform, including private equity, credit, and infrastructure strategies
  • Begin to co-cover and gradually take ownership of smaller institutional accounts, assuming increasing responsibility over time
  • Engage with limited partners via regular calls, meetings, and fundraising-related activities
  • Help organize and execute fund roadshows, with potential travel required in later stages
  • Conduct LP market mapping and initial outreach to build a strong pipeline of prospective investors
  • Assist with planning and execution of Evercore-hosted conferences and events
  • Lead due diligence processes and respond to ad hoc LP requests, ensuring timely and accurate communication
  • Maintain key internal materials, including CRM updates, GP overviews, prep notes, and tracking tools
  • Support the origination of LP-led secondary transactions within the secondary advisory practice

Specific Qualifications:

  • 1-5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in finance
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively across internal and external stakeholders
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with a structured and thoughtful approach to problem-solving
  • Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, with demonstrated proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other core tools
  • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative and ownership, capable of operating independently and managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Genuine enthusiasm for the private markets industry, with a strong capacity and willingness to learn quickly
  • Native fluency in either Spanish or Portuguese, and business-level fluency in English (both written and verbal) is required

Expected Base Salary Range:
$130,000 - $225,000
