What is the Position? Senior Research Analyst is looking for a Research Associate to support equity research coverage of the Semiconductor and Semiconductor Equipment sectors.The ideal candidate would have (1) a high fluency in accounting, including the ability to build and forecast Income Statements, Balance Sheets as well as Cash Flow Statements, (2) high attention to detail and ability to self audit their own work, and (3) high interest in stock market and in particular technology stocks, and 4) positive team attitude and willingness to work hard. Prior experience as a CFA or in investment banking experience is preferred.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and update company-specific and industry financial models
- Perform financial and valuation analysis of covered companies
- Author industry and company-specific research reports
- Oversee data collection and monitor investor news services
- Other duties as necessary
Specific Qualifications:
- Exceptional analytical and modeling capabilities
- High fluency in accounting, ability to interpret earnings reports and build and forecast financial statements
- Excellent communication skills; the job entails significant writing, PowerPoint and client engagement responsibilities
- Concrete understanding of / demonstrated interest in equity markets
- Background in accounting or investment banking
- B.S. degree required
- Preferred candidate has CFA or investment banking background
Expected Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $175,000
