Group Description: Evercore's Private Capital Advisory (PCA) team is a leading global secondaries market advisor, focusing on providing strategic advisory services to financial sponsors across a variety of portfolio and fund management objectives, advising limited partners on liquidity solutions for their private asset portfolios, and employing various forms of structured ABS technologies to create innovative capital and liquidity solutions for private markets issuers and investors.

Position Overview: PCA is seeking a highly motivated Syndication Associate to join its New York team, with a focus on institutional investor coverage, continuation fund syndication and related strategic initiatives. The role serves as a core sales support and execution partner to senior team members, supporting investor engagement and capital formation efforts across the platform.

The ideal candidate is intelligent, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with prior experience in private equity and/or investment banking and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Primary Responsibilities: The Syndication Associate will support and manage the day-to-day syndication and investor engagement process, including:

• Supporting engagement with institutional investors through regular calls, meetings, syndication-related outreach, and response to ad hoc investor requests, ensuring timely, accurate communication
• Maintaining and updating large-scale investor tracking systems and CRM tools, including tracking investor appetite, engagement, diligence status, and feedback
• Preparing and managing marketing and execution materials, including investor presentations, strategic decks and market updates
• Supporting the planning and coordination of investor outreach initiatives, roadshows, and Evercore PCA-hosted events, with potential travel as needed
• Developing insights into investor behavior, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape
• Contributing to market intelligence initiatives, including benchmarking analyses, buyer surveys, and thematic market reports
• Supporting broader platform initiatives such as investor segmentation, market mapping, database refinement, and ongoing reporting

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant experience in finance, preferably in private markets, fundraising, secondaries, or investment banking
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
• Meticulous attention to detail and a structured, analytical approach to problem-solving
• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities, with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate ideas clearly and effectively
• Demonstrated work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to perform in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Energetic, intellectually curious, and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership
• Active SEC/FINRA broker-dealer licenses in good standing (or ability to obtain promptly)

Expected Base Salary Range: $140,000-$200,000
