Role Overview
The Global Fixed Income and Currency team is seeking a bank loan trader at the Vice President level in New York. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the credit team and will work closely with senior managers to construct portfolios across all bank loan strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working with credit portfolio managers and research managers to identify value and opportunities within the bank loan market
- Working with both credit and client portfolio managers to build and monitor credit risk in portfolios, including management of cash flows
- Identifying, allocating, and executing trades
- Risk monitoring and reporting
- Maintaining and improving various trading tools and the accuracy of the data they employ
- Developing and maintaining sell-side relationships
Required Experience:
- 5+ years’ experience in relevant markets
- An understanding of markets and a keen interest in fixed income and credit
- Numerical and analytical with good attention to detail
- Strong systems knowledge (Excel)
- Asset management experience an advantage but not essential
Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$250000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
