Transition Consultants are responsible for the overall success of transitioning RIA firms onto the Goldman Sachs Custody Solutions (“GSCS”) platform. Their primary responsibilities include project management of advisory firms assigned by the Transition Leadership Team, ability to navigate the Goldman Sachs organization to deliver / identify solutions for complex business inquiries, drive strategic meetings with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders, and to respond to client needs and/or inquiries.
The role also requires a Transition Consultant to prescriptively provide direction, support, and expertise in all areas of the transition experience. Helping develop internal and external communication plans for advisory firms, in addition to coordinating internal resources to maintain good project health, and meet firm commitments / timelines are critical to success in the role. This individual is also responsible for ensuring all training needs are met and prepare them for the client service experience prior to the close of the transition experience. The role requires an average of 20-30% travel per year to support advisory firms in transition, along with flexible work hours to accommodate project commitments and/or timelines.
- A minimum of 4-6 years industry experience in financial services
- At least 2-3 years of experience in a project management role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exhibits strong leadership skills collaborates well with internal and external partners
- Proven ability to multi-task, problem solve, and drive change in fast paced environments
- Experience in visual aid tools to create reports, flow charts, and other project management related output
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $150000-$300000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
