Job Duties: Vice President, Trading with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Manage and execute trades and positions in Emerging Markets bonds and Derivatives usually dealing on behalf of, or for the benefit of, the Firm's clients. Responsibilities include building relationships with sales, operations, and strats in order to better service GS end client base. Monitor daily trading activities, manage market risk and operational risk. Recommend new strategies, exposures, or investments as appropriate for account(s). Train junior team members on pricing and risk.
Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Actuarial Science, or related quantitative field and five (5) years of experience in job offered or a related trader role. Must have five (5) years of experience with the following: trading and managing a portfolio of fixed income instruments, including Emerging Market Corporate bonds, US Treasury Securities, and Emerging Markets Derivatives; understanding of LATAM Corporate credit as well as an understanding of corporate financial statements; understanding of Credit risk metrics when positioning and hedging a portfolio of fixed income assets; maintaining strong relationships with the EM Credit client base across various types of managers including Hedge Funds, Real Money, locals, and ETC; trafficking in highly illiquid securities that sometimes may not trade for long periods of time; knowing how to navigate both positioning as well as hedging these securities; and maintaining spreadsheets for relative value analysis across corporates and sovereigns. 5% domestic and international travel required to meet with clients. Licenses required: SIE, Series 7, Series 63.
Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York -based position is $247,146 - $360,000.
