Job Description
Your Role:
Responsible for supporting Invesco Strategic Account efforts to proactively grow business and evolve single-product line relationships into multi-dimensional business relationships by facilitating and implementing Strategic Accounts strategy, developing client business plans with defined client needs & value propositions, measuring/monitoring success of client business plan execution across home office, field sales force, value-add programs, and implementing cross functional Retail Sales initiatives in collaboration with Senior Management and Strategic Accounts
You will be responsible for:
- Manage a full-circle approach to creation, execution and measurement of top-tier client business plans, incorporating client strategy, execution and measurement for each top-tier client across Strategic Accounts, Field Sales and Value Add Programs.
- Facilitate definition of client needs and development of value propositions and client-facing proposals, along with action plans to strengthen relationships and win business.
- Build sales momentum in the firm by leveraging relationship and firm insight. Increase shelf-space on new/existing platforms and recommended lists.
- Build and strengthen relationship through contact frequency including: comprehensive face-to-face, phone, electronic contact with key decision-makers and points of influence at firms which increase our levels of influence at various firm levels.
- Service key firm relationships by responding promptly and accurately to clients, effectively triaging requests/challenges by funneling to appropriate areas.
- Deepen penetration within existing channels by establishing and/or re-establishing Invesco’s position with Clients.
- Responsible for direct selling through relationship management activities with strategic clients to profitably increase sales and asset retention.
- Relationship management to further develop and deepen senior relationships with Strategic Clients by visiting key contacts to profile relationships, discuss activities and resolve conflicts.
- Take a lead role in managing completion of business contracts/revenue-sharing agreements, including solid negotiations to ensure maximum value, leveraging Invesco’s strength to secure optimal positioning within agreements for dollars invested.
- Oversee management reporting to ensure an accurate and insightful picture of client relationship and opportunities is represented within Executive summary updates, relationship briefings, firm segmentation information, and senior management requests.
- Participate in harmonizing strategy / tactics and distribution opportunities for larger and complex cross-functional initiatives for assigned firms
- Take a lead role in managing and implementing larger and complex cross-functional initiatives which involve assigned firms.
The experience you bring:
- 3-5 years experience in managing and implementing large and complex initiatives
- 3-5 years analytical & business planning experience
- 3-5 years relationship-management and communication/facilitation experience
- Ability to influence and persuade others, bridge differences and build consensus towards a common goal or objective is critical.
- Leadership and communication is critical, as is a demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive working relationships with key internal and external partners.
- Setting and implementing strategy is critical.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills to determine the needs of the organization and implement feasible solutions.
- Marketing and analytical skills required to develop and follow through on strategy and business plans.
- Undergraduate, college degree or equivalent preferred.
- Series 7 and 66 (or 63/65) required.
- Possibility of travel up to 50%
