Job Description

Internship Overview

This internship is in office/in person 10-week beginning June 2024 for candidates graduating in the summer of 2025. Near the end of your 10-week internship, you'll be given the opportunity to stay involved with the program; if you're successful, you'll receive a full-time job offer to partake in a 12 month rotational program with Invesco Investments that would start after you graduate. This position is a pipeline into our full-time Early Career Investor Program, which does not qualify for employer-sponsored immigration. You are not qualified for this internship position if you need immigration sponsorship after completing your degree.

Internship Requirements

  • Coding and quantitative background
  • Experience with any of the following is a plus: R, Python, Java, SQL, JavaScript, MATLAB, , C/C++, HTML/CSS
  • Major in data science, computer science, or financial engineering
  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree and be a rising Junior graduating by summer of 2025
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale
  • Authorization to work permanently in the U.S.
  • To be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not offer any type of employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program. Invesco will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation in support of any other form of immigration sponsorship or benefit including optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT).
  • Relocation and housing will not be included if an offer is extended.

Our summer internship program is the main source for hiring into our Investments Early Career Rotational Program.

Clear Career Path. Clear line of sight into opportunity to become a portfolio manager, research analyst or trader, with hands on experience and mentoring.
