What we are we looking for:
Collaborate closely with the client and broker dealer community to promote efficient primary and secondary market processes in Invesco UCITS ETFs
Manage new and existing market maker assignments and develop working knowledge of ETF market maker programs
Identify ways of engaging the sales and trading capabilities of leading sell side firms to promote liquidity in Invesco UCITS ETFs
Develop and maintain digital infrastructure linking disparate data sets including Bloomberg, custodian, and proprietary data points to enable and empower Global ETF Capital Markets team
Work closely with sales team and assist clients across all channels in achieving efficient execution when trading Invesco ETFs
Provide education on ETF liquidity and effectively communicate specific trading strategies and associated costs
Produce pre-trade analytics to assist clients in achieving their investment objectives when trading Invesco ETFs
Develop knowledge to promote Invesco UCITS ETF usage including delta one (ETF vs Futures), securities finance (lending, collateral), structured products and options strategies etc.
Develop and maintain internal and external reports, scorecards, and associated Capital Markets databases
Coordinate execution of key initiatives and projects within the ETF Capital Markets platform across functional groups
Manage business processes and operational requirements of ETF Capital Markets platform
Write ETF focused market insight pieces and trading research for both internal and external audiences. Collect, analyse and extract meaning from ETF trading data to produce relevant content and drive inflows
Monitor volume, inflows/outflows, premiums/discounts, short interest and borrow and identify trends to partner with coverage teams
Monitor articles, white papers and blogs that highlight potential issues with ETFs and help coordinate the proper response
Collaborate with internal working groups including product development and research to enhance new and existing products
Manage relationships with existing and prospective market making firms, APs, and Exchanges in order to improve client experience and reduce spreads in Invesco UCITS ETFs
Collaborate with ETF Portfolio Management, ETF Operations, technology and digital marketing to enhance information flow and improve ETF trading infrastructure
What you can bring:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the ETF industry
Understanding of financial markets, investment concepts and trading
Understanding of ETF structure and mechanics of creation & redemption
Ability to understand and articulate complex investment concepts and strategies
Very good understanding of the ETF trading ecosystem including knowledge of key players and drivers of success in the ETF business
Proficiency in Bloomberg
Italian and/or Spanish language skills preferred
Strong relationship building skills to build new and enhance existing relationships with the ETF client and broker dealer community
Strong analytical skills to analyse and interpret various market data and apply such information to their day-to-day activities
Excellent organizational skills and detail orientation
Ability to conduct complex analysis and present data in a meaningful way
Ability to work in fast paced dynamic environment, and drive forward key initiatives
Self-directed; must be comfortable with establishing objectives and then working independently to achieve them, seeking managers input as needed
Creative and self-motivated individual who works collaboratively in a high performance, team environment
Critical thinking skills necessary to identify trends and root issues and to recommend solutions that support the company’s business objectives
