Job Description

What we are looking for:

  • Business Development - diversify the existing book of clients through engagement

  • Build a pipeline across all asset classes offered by Invesco, and contribute to the team targets

  • Ownership of large strategic accounts, be responsible for client plans and identify opportunities

  • Assist Head of UK insurance to achieve targets and work collaboratively cross channel in EMEA distribution

  • Maintenance of key management information data across EMEA insurance

  • Maintenance of EMEA insurance account plans in conjunction with local sales teams

  • Assistance in preparation of strategy/ business plans/ documents

  • Assistance in production of insurance specific sales and pitch materials

  • Oversee preparation of RFP responses

  • Work with marketing and key product teams to support production of insurance specific thought leadership papers and running of insurance events

  • Help research/maintain information on insurance companies and key insurance market events across EMEA

What you can bring:

  • Proven experience in direct business development

  • Experience in sales cycle, being proactive and innovative

  • Excellent understanding of company products, company processes, regulatory requirements and business risk

  • Knowledge of client requirements in the UK Insurance marketplace

  • Knowledge of investment theory and practice

  • Knowledge of current economic environment

  • Strong customer focus and excellent relationship management skills

  • Strong influencing skills and excellent communication skills

  • Strong commercial focus and good judgement

  • Self-motivated, disciplined, organised and flexible

  • Resilience and decisive

  • Ability to collaborate to achieve targets of the wider organisation

  • Relevant financial services industry professional qualifications would be advantageous
