Job Description
You will be responsible for:
- Managing requests from investment teams and compile responses from consultants
- Overseeing sales team requests for client events and meetings and compile feedback and results from meetings
- Preparing issue-specific slides and meeting materials (e.g., US-China relations)
- Internal reporting (e.g., annual office report, weekly reports to Allison Dukes, GPP slides for internal meetings)
- Board reporting (e.g., ETF Board update)
- Managing GPP SharePoint site
- On-site office management tasks as needed, e.g., manage visitors/consultants at the office, collect mail, stock food and coffee
- Primary contact for facilities-related issues associated with the Washington office (e.g., IT and equipment issues, building management, access for regular users of the office)
The experience you bring:
- Capacity for comprehension of financial services and policy/regulatory topics
- Political/government affairs and/or financial services interest not required but a plus
- Able to professionally interact with high-level policymakers, engage with clients and investors, and effectively navigate a corporate environment
- Schedule & Project management: strong organizational skills to assist with multiple projects, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and manage competing priorities effectively. Ability to work independently and demonstrating critical thinking
- Communication, collaboration and Interpersonal skills: excellent written and verbal communication for building internal working relationships; occasional client, Congressional staff, and Trade Association staff engagement; assist with team organization and administrative management.
- Analytical and research skills: strong PowerPoint development skills for client presentations; excel management & the ability to analyze data and pull reports
- Budget and financial management: Assist in tracking budgetary items for the team, processing & tracking invoices with Procurement
- Adaptability and problem-solving: flexibility to adapt to changing needs and develop creative solutions
- Technical proficiency: strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) for creating reports, presentations, and managing documentation; Outlook for calendar management. Tech-savviness is required – must assist team with navigating in office tech, troubleshooting & working with IT/Facilities to navigate all office + team tech issues. Familiarity with Procurement processes, Workday, and Concur preferred.
