Job Description
Duties:
- Responsible for investigating data loss incidents and user behavior alerts.
- Thoroughly document and maintain administrative logs related to investigation requests and case processing status and monitoring metrics.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from other business partners to investigate employee activity.
- Manage alerts received from data loss prevention and/or user behavior analytic tools including direct interaction with Cyber Defense, Business Security Officers, other business partners, and mangers to resolve these incidents.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor for the Insider Risk team of analysts.
- Deal with escalated issues from team members, acting as a liaison for team members as needed, staying ahead of industry practices to upgrade the team’s knowledge, coordinating the communications with business partners and management, and providing guidance and training to fellow team members, as necessary.
Requirements:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Digital Forensics, Computational Sciences, or a related technical field
- Must hold CompTIA Security + or similar Information Security Certification.
- Must have 5 years of progressive experience in Information Security Analyst or Cybersecurity-related positions performing/utilizing the following:
- Data loss prevention tools including Symantec, Microsoft Defender/Purview, Forcepoint, Endpoint protector.
- Administering SIEM tools including QRadar and SPLUNK.
- Investigating security alerts from Information Security software and handling incidents as per SLA metrics.
- Proficient in threat detection, data privacy and protection.
- End point detection and Response including CrowdStrike.
- Managing Email gateway and security in O365 or in Symantec.
- Working in an Insider Risk Program.
- Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of and reports to Invesco offices in Atlanta, GA. Must be available to travel to Atlanta, GA regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24-hours’ notice.
