Job Description
The Department
Invesco’s Global Transformation Office sits within the Corporate Strategy and Finance Group and serves as the Center of Excellence for planning and execution of large scale, global priority transformations including strategic and operational initiatives, corporate development transactions like M&A activity and transformational operating model and technology implementations.
Your Role
As a Director in the Global Enterprise Transformation Office, you will partner with the Global Head of Enterprise Transformation and global leadership to lead strategic transformations within Invesco. Leveraging your consulting experience in transformation management, you will implement best practice processes, protocols and execution standards across transformations and take on lead roles in transformation offices of our most critical firm initiatives. Your experience in transformation delivery and ability to influence Executive stakeholders across Business, Technology and Operations will enable you to serve at the core of Invesco Enterprise Transformation center of excellence managing a portfolio of Invesco’s most strategic programs. Initiatives can range from broad enterprise and functional transformations, corporate development transaction management and technology enabled solutions. This is an ideal role for an experienced transformation leader looking for a new challenge and a role that provides opportunities to drive Invesco’s transformation delivery to higher standards of excellence across the global enterprise.
You will be responsible for:

50% Lead PMO and Transformation Office teams and activities in priority program execution:
Driving best practice program management activities including workplan development and management, budget and resource management status tracking and risk management for transformations
Leading internal and external resources in transformation implementation
Delivering transformation office planning and set up including governance model design, program structure initiation, identification of resources, and the definition of success measures (KPIs)
Developing integrated program implementation plans
Defining, assessing and executing risk mitigation plans for key issues within and across transformation projects.

50% Managing cross-transformation portfolio activities including dependency mapping, enterprise program planning / prioritization and dashboard monitoring in collaboration with Corporate Governance and Finance groups
Driving decision making across internal and external groups
Developing multi-year execution plans against strategic priority programs
Preparation of and presentation of transformation project / portfolio related updates to senior business leaders including C Suite
External vendor planning / engagement including RFPs / sourcing in collaboration with Global Procurement
Business cases development including financial modeling, synergy analysis in partnership with business, technology and other enterprise stakeholders
Provide thought leadership to supplement standard tools and processes with innovative ideas and approaches
Supporting corporate development related implementation activities such as integration planning and post transaction integration execution
The experience you bring:

7-10 years professional experience with a minimum of 4 years in consulting in a global or national management consulting firm
Enterprise or Business transformation delivery experience
Technology implementation delivery experience
M&A or other corporate restructuring experience
7+ years of project management experience within and across workstreams
Financial Services Industry experience, preferably Asset Management / Servicing
Ability to build financial models for program budget and resource management
Ability to translate strategic goals into multi-year execution plans
Ability to problem solve and present option assessment to drive decision making
Ability to influence stakeholder across enterprise organization at different levels
Ability to build executive level presentations independently with strong oral and written communication skills including advanced presentation and MS PowerPoint skills
Creating and maintaining high performing team environments across internal and external resource groupings
Ability to manage multi-regional, cross-functional teams
Team player with strong organizational skills
