Your team:
The private markets marketing team works across EMEA and North America and with the aim to increase visibility of Invesco private markets capabilities across all platforms with both WMI and institutional investors. The team is working with the wider IVZ marketing teams to cover the full marketing mix for private markets from advertising and branding to campaign management, content creation, press, communications and events. Our mission is to support the strategic priorities of the business through a wide range of marketing tools, ensuring our reputation as one of the top global private markets managers. We are a team of four marketers based in New York, London and Frankfurt.
Your role:
We are looking for our next senior marketer to join our team based in our Henley-on-Thames office. Within this role you will work with the Director of Private Markets Marketing to support our Private Markets Strategy and Go-to-Market plan, which includes both real estate and private credit businesses. The role requires a marketing generalist who is able to navigate both baseline marketing activities as well as campaign management across all marketing channels, including media relations experience, event management, communications and is familiar with managing new product launches.
What you will be doing:
Ensure Invesco develops and maintains its industry reputation as both a large, global real estate and private credit player as part of its growing private markets capabilities by ensuring consistent and repeatable key messaging supports all that we do globally. Ensure the marketing plan aligns with IVZ strategic direction and collaborates with Investment team and IVZ Distribution team priorities.
Collaborate within the pan-regional private markets marketing team to ensure global consistency and coordination of baseline marketing plan, campaigns and related projects. Support a well-rounded service regarding all marketing-related activities for the global real estate and private credit businesses. This ensures working closely with central marketing stakeholders such as country and segment marketing, content, events, digital, social media teams, PR, analytics, growth and enablement and CRM to ensure the private markets go-to-market plan is implemented consistently and measured appropriately according to the firm’s strategic priorities.
Work closely with the real estate and private credit investment teams as well as Invesco Distribution and relevant marketing stakeholders to support strategic priority products and the launch of new products as per the firm’s strategic product focus.
Work in close collaboration with the firm’s media relations teams as well as the appointed PR agency to ensure a consistent, accurate and ambitious media relations programme is implemented across the Americas and EMEA to raise and maintain our Private Markets, Real Estate and Private Credit profiles. Mediums used include releases, commentary/interviews, magazine-related events, press articles.
Deliver outstanding event experiences for our clients and business partners though support and management (as needed) of Invesco- and third-party events – either directly managed or in conjunction with the Invesco central events team. Provide a project and event management service to the business for the participation at trade shows and owned client events.
Further strengthen our digital marketing capabilities, through globally consistent use of client data, marketing automation processes and marketing analytics learnings in Salesforce and Pardot.
Strong collaboration with the wider IVZ-Teams (Distribution, Compliance) across the Americas and EMEA to ensure the accurate messaging in the promotion of Invesco private markets capabilities for both retail and institutional audiences.
What you will bring:
Prior relevant work experience with relevant marketing qualifications, in a comparable position in financial services/asset management.
Experience working within Private Markets with knowledge of real estate and/or private credit
Experience working with institutional and/or WMI client segments preferable
Experience in media relations preferable, not essential
Excellent communication and writing skills
Creative flair and an eye for design, with excellent attention to detail.
Familiar with MS Office Suite as well as working knowledge of Salesforce / Pardot/ Aprimo
Excellent organisational skills and efficient work style
