What we are looking for:

  • Act as a client-facing product specialist to support sales teams with expert market and product insights to and position Invesco’s fixed income ETF range effectively with clients. Engage directly with clients across all levels (from CEO/CIO through to fund selection) to build fixed-income-specific relationships and increase Invesco’s profile with clients. (Note: Role will involve significant travel and direct client engagement across Europe.)

  • Working together with EMEA sales teams, engage with clients to deeply understand their business needs and identify where fixed income ETFs (existing or new) can provide solutions. Develop a broad picture of current and future fixed income ETF use cases across client segments and support sales in prioritising business development opportunities based on size, time horizon, ability to deliver, etc.

  • Support EMEA sales to develop fixed income ETF-specific client maps with the goal of not only identifying and realising opportunities within the existing client base, but also to expand Invesco’s fixed income ETF distribution footprint overall.

  • Coordinate between ETF product teams (product management, capital markets, portfolio managers), Invesco Thought Leadership (Market Strategists, Asset Allocation Research, MAS/Vision) and other fixed income investment centres (IFI) to develop rich content that combines market insights on investment opportunities and risks, with implementable solutions using Invesco fixed income ETFs.

  • Work with both ETF product managers and product developer to define a clear, “future state” product vision and brand positioning for the Invesco EMEA ETF range, and a roadmap of product development and commercialisation efforts to deliver on that vision. Provide both personal input and connectivity to key clients to support the development of new fixed income ETFs.

  • Support ETF distribution efforts by providing regular education (structured and informal, individual and group) to Sales team to continually develop their understanding of the structure, benefits, and uses cases of fixed income ETFs. Work with Sales and Marketing teams to identify opportunities to enhance Invesco fixed income brand recognition by delivering similar educational content to external clients.

What you can bring:

  • Prior experience both as a fixed income ETF product specialist, and directly in fixed income markets (e.g., trader, portfolio manager, sales /sales trader)

  • Detailed understanding of fixed income markets (trading, liquidity, influence of macroeconomic factors) and the ways in which different market participants interact (especially as it relates to ETFs), as well as the needs and motivations of different investor types (wealth, asset managers, asset owners, etc.)

  • Significant experience engaging with clients across all levels of seniority in both face-to-face and group events; strong public speaking skills and ability to present in an engaging manner in both one-on-one client meetings and group events

  • Strong interpersonal / communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in an easy-to-understand way

  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Excellent written English. Fluency in another European language also highly valued

  • A clear analytical thinker and natural problem solver with strong quantitative skills

  • Ability to grasp new technical concepts quickly, think logically and communicate ideas clearly

  • Outstanding attention to detail in quantitative work as well as in the preparation of written materials (grammar) or presentations (formatting)

  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a heavy workload and meet deadlines

  • An entrepreneurial and proactive self-starter with the confidence to independently identify opportunities and drive business growth

  • University degree in a technical field (mathematics, physical sciences, computer science, engineering) with post-graduate degrees strongly preferred

  • Additional qualifications (e.g., CFA) highly valued
