Job Description
Your Role
This role will be responsible for supporting the daily operational and financial reporting requirements of the accounting team for Invesco Commercial Real Estate Finance Trust (“INCREF”), which is a non-exchange traded, perpetual-life REIT that originates and manages a diversified portfolio of loans secured by, or related to, commercial real estate.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Daily oversight of third-party service providers responsible for valuations and accounting for portfolio
Ensuring investment, derivative, and borrowing activities are communicated to service providers timely and transactions are reflected properly in the accounting software system
Reviewing investment portfolio reports for accuracy and facilitating timely resolution of variances among front, middle and back-office systems
Coordinating with internal investment services teams to ensure open items are cleared and reconciliations are completed according to service level agreement
Assisting with SOX compliance including coordinating with control owners and providing deliverables
Reviewing and overseeing preparation of monthly expense reimbursement summary
Tracking and monitoring monthly share transactions
Training, overseeing and reviewing the work of HYD support teams
Assisting with internal and external audits
Coordinating internal and external wire transfers
Preparing ad hoc requests as necessary to support senior management’s decision making
The Experience You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, CPA preferred
2-4 years of Big 4 public accounting experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Team oriented and strong interpersonal skills very important
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment
