Job Description

The Department:

Invesco’s Corporate Strategy team sits within the Corporate Finance and Strategy Group and serves as the Center of Excellence for the development of the firm’s corporate strategy, strategic planning, and driving high-impact initiatives, including competitive assessments and long-term growth strategies.

Your Role:

As a Senior Director of Corporate Strategy, you will partner with global teams and leadership to lead the development and execution of Invesco's corporate strategy. You will use your expertise in strategic planning and analysis to drive key initiatives that support the company's growth objectives. Your experience in corporate strategy and prior work on high-impact initiatives will enable you to help shape Invesco's strategic direction and ensure alignment with overall business goals and expectations for profitable growth.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading key elements of the development and maintenance of Invesco's corporate strategy, competitive assessments and long-term growth initiatives.

  • Collaborating with senior leadership to identify and prioritize strategic opportunities and initiatives.

  • Conducting in-depth market research and analysis to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Developing and presenting strategic recommendations to senior leadership, including the C-suite.

  • Managing cross-functional teams to execute strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with overall business goals.

  • Monitoring and evaluating the performance of strategic initiatives and making adjustments as needed.

  • Providing thought leadership and strategic insights to support business development and corporate growth.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.

The experience you bring:

  • 10+ years of professional experience, with a minimum of 7 years in corporate strategy or management consulting preferred.

  • Experience in the financial services industry; asset management preferred.

  • Proven track record of leading and executing high-impact strategic initiatives.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Team player with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively across functions and regions.
